In 28 October 1976 Syed Darbar Ali shah laid the foundation of Imam Hassan Askari (a.s) public school and at the has of 14th of August 1980 Mr. Mustafa Gokal formally inaugurated the school prof , Syed Manzar Hussain Kazmi appointed as chairman and Syed M.Swaleh appointed honorable secretary MS Mariam Faiza appointed as principle, but she serve the school only for one year.
In 1980 honorable chairman and secretary resigned from school and Mr. Mirza Saeed Habib (late) Appointed as chairman and Mr. Mirza Saeed Habib (late) appointed as chairman and Mr. Mirza Aftab Alam Qazalbash as secretary.
In Feb 1986 requirement for new principal in march 1986 Ms. Fatima Altaf appointed as principal .In 1994 the school upgraded as the intermediate college .

In April 2000 Mrs. Husna Zaidi took the charge and work hard for school progress. In 2004 Mrs. Husna went out for country during this time MS. Kauser Fatima worked as the acting principal Mrs. Husna left the school Nov 2011 and Ms. Kauser Fatima took a charge of permanent principal and work hard for the betterment of school system.

Libraries that have long served crucial roles in learning for more than 1000 years, are integrating soon with the cyber world to produce Digital Libraries. The limited and restricted on-campus education due to the COVID-19 pandemic also resulted in an urgent realization of digital libraries. Partnered with numerous local and international educational institutions, Imam Hasan Askari (AS) School is introducing an in-built digital library, to cater the growing needs of learning and to facilitate the students during the pandemic. The students can access more than 10,000 digital books, articles and papers via the digital library.
